21 Sept 2020 Tagalong - Sawn Rock

Monday.  Lynette and I checked out Sawn Rock together.  A cooling light rain fell while we were walking down the track to the creek bed, looking up the rock formation is amazing. I've lost my photos so have asked Lynette to send me one of hers.

17 Sept 2020 Tagalong - Cranky Rock

Thursday. We've done it again.... we have come across another two WCCTS travelers Sandra Przibilla and her partner Janice.

June Sambrook also came to spend one night with us.

Cranky rock is a very well kept Nature Reserve. The happy hour fire and snacks are supplied by the owners, they do a fantastic job. Here we are doing the right thing, social distancing around the fire, the afternoon was rather warm for a fire but was still enjoyable.

Christine and Janice have chosen a good spot under the trees

I did a sunrise walk to Cranky, a 40 minute stroll around with lots of reading to do.

17 Sept 2020 Tagalong - Warialda

Thursday. On my way to Cranky Rock Camping area, it's a few ks passed Warialda.

17 Sept 2020 Tagalong - Bingara

Thursday. I caught up with the girls around 9.30am in the morning beside the river, they were almost ready to hit the road. Its a lovely spot to camp, right on the waters edge, the road is a little bit rocky getting in but not to bad.

Lorri, Wendy, Karen and Vivian decided they would head west on Lorri's original "A little bit West" plan.

Joanne, Ines, Griff and myself continued north to Warialda. Our Tagalong had split in two but we kept in contact via our messaging group, this was a wonderful way to enjoy our individual travels.

15th and 16th Sept 2020 Tagalong - Manilla

Tuesday and Wednesday.
We are at the 7 day limit freedom camp, it is a beaut spot beside the Namoi river.
Toilets are in walking distance in town for those that don't carry their own.
It was a big surprise to meet up with Wendy Kiwi Healy, Chris and Dee Moncrieff.
I stayed 2 nights to catch up with these girls to hear about their 3 week tagalong to Lightning Ridge. Our group continued on to Bingara without me.

Griff, Joanne, myself, Vivian, Karen, Wendy, Lorri and Ines, with Angus and Chloe but can't see Honey, maybe she didn't want to be in the photo.

19 and 20th Sept 2020 Tagalong - Moree Showground

Saturday - Sunday.  We once again met another 2 members from WCCTS who were traveling separately, both full time travelers in motorhomes, Ruth Stanbury and Lesley Leaver.

Lynette arrived to join us after a long days drive from Mudgee. Lucky she travels with a step or she'd never reach!

Oh look there's Honey!!
Little bit of rain today

18th Sept 2020 Tagalong - Gum Flat Reserve

Friday

This beaut spot was found by Sandra as they were staying with us tonight before heading off to their pre booked camp at Booni. The road was fairly rough getting to the camp area but once we passed that bit we set up camp and enjoyed a lovely afternoon and evening overnight stop together.

We promise Griff a loo......

23rd Sept 2020 Tagalong - Binnaway

Wednesday, Binnaway is a great place to camp, the hot showers are $2 for 5 minutes and electricity is $2 for every 3 hours.

Found our first Geocache today, found it but didn't really know what to do with it, so exciting to find something.....

This was my last night with the Tagalong girls, I headed home via Coolah, arriving home a 5pm.

21st and 22nd Sept 2020 Tagalong - Narrabri

Monday - Tuesday

Gaming girls passing the time at Narrabri showground

The Compact Array were moved apart on their tracks yesterday due to the storm front that was due to hit last night, I've added a photo from my last visit.

We continued on to check out Yarrie lake,

Opps Joanne !! we took a wrong turn, think we could get lost out here!

Wallarawang September 2020

Wallarawang is near Lithgow, a beautiful spot to celebrate Fathers day.  Craig and his children decided to spend time together with a camp.  A great idea, only it turned out to be a bloody cold weekend.

Lake Ladell Muswellbrook August 2020

Karen Gilbert has done it again, 21th - 25th, this time its called "A Winter Camp" and she was so correct as it was much bloody colder than Moonan Flat. The wind was blowing a gale every day.

Billowing tarps tarps tell the story.....

Chloe and Angus certainly look like they are in agreement in finding a novel way to keep warm.
